Medellín Travel Assistance (MTA)

1. Services

Medellín Travel Assistance (“MTA”) provides digital travel assistance and support to travelers visiting Medellín, Colombia. Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Travel advice and preparation support

  • WhatsApp-based assistance during a stay

  • Practical information and coordination

All services are provided remotely and digitally.

MTA is not a travel agency, not a tour operator, and not an emergency or security service.

2. Nature of the service

MTA provides guidance, information, and coordination based on experience and local knowledge.
All advice is informational and does not replace professional, legal, medical, or security advice.

Travel decisions are made solely by the client.

3. No guarantee of outcomes

MTA does not guarantee:

  • Personal safety

  • Travel experiences or outcomes

  • Decisions or actions of third parties

  • Availability or performance of external services

  • Local conditions, regulations, or circumstances

All travel is undertaken at the client’s own risk.

4. Client responsibility

The client is fully responsible for:

  • All travel decisions

  • Compliance with local laws and regulations

  • Personal safety and behavior

  • Valid travel documents (passport, visa, insurance)

  • Health requirements and vaccinations

MTA cannot be held responsible for consequences resulting from client decisions.

5. Third parties

MTA may suggest or coordinate with third parties such as drivers, accommodations, or service providers.
MTA is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or performance of any third party.

Any agreement with a third party is strictly between the client and that party.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MTA shall not be liable for:

  • Loss, damage, injury, or theft

  • Missed flights, reservations, or appointments

  • Delays or disruptions

  • Actions or negligence of third parties

  • Indirect or consequential damages

MTA’s total liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service.

7. Payment

  • Payment must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed

  • Prices are clearly communicated before the service starts

  • All payments are for digital services

8. Cancellation and refunds

  • Digital services are non-refundable once they have started or been delivered

  • Cancellations are only possible before the service begins

  • No refunds are provided for unused services or early termination by the client

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, structure, and branding, is the property of MTA.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

10. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by European law.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court.

11. Changes to these terms

MTA reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The most recent version will always be available on the website.
