Who We Are
Medellín Travel Assistance is a personal travel-assistance and concierge service for Medellín, founded by a family with strong roots in both Colombia and Europe. Our connection with the city began nearly 25 years ago, when one of the founders worked as a volunteer with street children in Medellín and came to know the city far beyond its tourist image — raw, warm, complex and sincere. It was also there that he met Mary, a born-and-raised Paisa, with whom he later built both a life and this family business.
Since then, we have lived and worked between Colombia and Europe. For almost two decades, our base has been Germany, which allows us to seamlessly combine European standards for structure, clarity and communication with deep local knowledge and strong family connections in Medellín. We believe that good travel assistance starts with trust, clear expectations and people who truly understand both worlds.
